Child & Teen Therapy
Who Therapy Can Support
We provide child and teen therapy for families in Durham, the Triangle area, and across North Carolina, offering in-person and virtual support for anxiety, ADHD, mood concerns, social skills and peer relationships, emotional regulation, communication challenges, and school-related stress.
Therapy is tailored to support kids and teens through a wide range of experiences and challenges. At McKee Collaborative Therapy, we provide a judgment-free space for young people to better understand and express themselves, while being met with respect and encouragement for their individuality, development, and strengths.
Parents and caregivers often seek therapy for concerns such as anxiety, behavior challenges, attention and executive functioning differences, school stress, social difficulties, or major life changes. For some families, psychological testing or parent consultation services can be a helpful part of understanding and supporting a child’s needs. Our therapists blend evidence-based practices with individualized strategies to support confidence, communication, and emotional well-being at home, at school, and in everyday life.

Therapy with Kids
Every child brings something unique to therapy, and their story deserves to be met with care, respect, and genuine curiosity. Our therapists walk alongside children and teens as steady supports, creating safe and welcoming spaces to explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Parent and caregiver engagement is an intentional part of our work. With deep respect for each child’s privacy and autonomy, we partner with families to help ensure growth in the therapy space extends into home, school, and the wider world.

Our clinicians are licensed mental health professionals with experience in evidence-based, developmentally informed, and neurodivergent-affirming approaches for children and adolescents.
