Jessica Suarez, LCSW-A

Therapy for children, teens, and adults

Welcoming new clients!

________________________________

Jessica Suarez (she/her/hers) is a clinical social worker in North Carolina specializing in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families across a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns. Many of her clients are managing anxiety and depression, navigating family changes, or seeking support for their child's emotional or behavioral needs. She believes therapy is a place where people can pause, breathe, and reconnect with themselves, and she creates spaces that feel safe, supportive, and rooted in respect.

Jessica Suarez is accepting new therapy clients!

"I offer a steady, compassionate presence and see therapy as a collaborative journey toward healing and growth."

  • Emotional and behavioral concerns

  • ADHD and attention-related concerns

  • Self-esteem and confidence

  • Peer relationships and social challenges

  • Family relationships and communication
  • Life transitions and personal growth

Approach

Jessica's approach is collaborative and grounded in the belief that every person brings their own unique story, strengths, and goals to therapy. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and integrative methods tailored to each client.

Sessions may include building emotional awareness and self-confidence, supporting stronger relationships with peers and caregivers, and developing practical tools for managing attention and navigating social challenges. Her style is steady and compassionate, creating space for understanding, self-discovery, and growth.

Background

Jessica earned her BSW from Texas A&M University and her MS in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, with a direct focus on children and families. That foundation continues to shape her commitment to meeting clients, and the people who care for them, where they are.

Outside the Office

After relocating from Texas, Jessica and her husband are now raising their four children and four dogs in North Carolina. She has quickly fallen in love with the community and is excited to put down roots here. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys being outdoors, finding joy in everyday family moments, and connecting with others in ways that remind us we are not alone.
